NAT Traversal

Post by Girishdharmaraj on Tue Jul 24, 2018 10:00 am

Guys
Any one has tried to use NAT traversal ? My SBC is on public IP and the IP phones is behind NAT. When the IP phone sends RTP from the NAT'ed Public IP, SBC drops with ICMP port unreachable.
If i use ALG or STUN on the device to advertise the public IP on SDP it works.
Any idea ?

In the NAP configuration, there is a setting to support remote NAT. Try this:
NAP -> [Select the NAP] -> Network Address Translation (NAT) -> Remote Method for RTP: Force Passive Mode

You can check here:
https://docs.telcobridges.com/tbwiki/Toolpack:SIP_Configuration_For_Remote_Symmetric_NAT_Traversal_A
