ACL modifications over ssh? Empty ACL modifications over ssh?

Post by Guest Wed May 26, 2021 6:14 pm

Hi there,
I'd like to lock down the web interface to a few specific addresses, but I'm wondering if in the event I accidentally lock myself out is there a way to modify the ACL's over ssh or to disable all ACL's so that I can fix them?

Thanks!

Hello, it is difficult to recover from the SSH if you lose access to the web interface.
If you copy the configuration and make changes to the new configuration, it would be easier to recover then – we can reassign the old configuration with some database commands.

However, using this guide should help you not to make any mistakes: https://docs.telcobridges.com/tbwiki/Toolpack:Create_HTTP_service_A

And this one:https://docs.telcobridges.com/tbwiki/Toolpack:Create_Sbc_Access_Rule_B

Thanks.

Thanks,

I decided to just add some custom iptables rules for ssh and http access and have them load with rc.local if a reboot occurs. It doesn't seem to impact the ACL's in any way and seems much safer than risking locking myself out.

Thanks!
