ProSBC - Support for "IP-Based" registration for 3CX Phone System Empty ProSBC - Support for "IP-Based" registration for 3CX Phone System

Hello all,

We are currently investigating ProSBC as a solution for our SBC requirements, due to a change in upstream voice providers that we are currently going through.

Currently, we host a number of '3CX Phone System' servers virtually in our datacentre, and we currently 'register' our SIP trunks to our voice provider, utilising a username/password combination.

Does anyone have any experience with setting up 3CX phone system servers to register (using the IP-Based method) to a ProSBC device?

Any assistance or information would be appreciated.

Kind regards,
James

Dear James

I am sorry but it is not possible. Our SBC is not a registrar, you cannot register your 3CX device to our SBC. But what you can create a NAP to your service provider and configure Registration and AUthentication parameters in this NAP for your service provider. Our SBC can register to your service provider and forward calls to your 3CX or from your 3CX.

It is not possible to register 3CX to SBC.

Hi there,

Thank you for your reply. We've been working with Bronze to try and sort out another method.

We can probably close this for the moment.

Kind regards,
James
