How can get CDRs from FTP in one file?

I hope all is well, I need to know how we can get CDRs from FTP in one file? please advise.

Our products rotate the cdr files configured in the  Text CDR parameters Rotation delay and compress the others after this rotation delay passed. You cannot get all cdrs in the same file. The system automatically generates a new file every 1 hour (because default rotation is set to 1). Do you have a better solution for CDRs? because we can not unzip so many files one by one, it will take hours. Please advise.

At the moment, we don’t have the standard option to make is a daily file. However, it could be a custom way to do it if you could develop your own script, like the built-in tbcopycdr script by putting all CDR files in one folder, and modify tbcopycdr so it will compress the daily file instead of the hourly file and send it to your server.

If a daily file is not possible, then can you put files in either text or csv format? If it’s csv/txt format then if does not really matter how many files are there as I can simply merge them into one file.

You could try to make 0 value for, Maximum CDR log file segment size below, and then save and activate configuration,



The CDR generated from SBC, under the below directory path are already in text format (before compression if done):

/lib/tb/toolpack/setup/12358/cdr_logs
